Mint Works presents BAB//\\DAR for their partner Marrakech Biennale 5. The exhibition showcases works made by 40 Moroccan and European artists during the 5-month art residency Mint Collective, hosted in the city of Marrakech. As well as exhibited artworks Mint Works presented a programme of jam sessions, talks, debates, an OFF-site programmes, performances and other events that transformed the space into a fluid platform for the exchange of ideas. The OFF-site events saw the artworks moving out of the exhibition and into ‘hidden’ and ‘open’ spaces around the city of Marrakech, recontextualizing the artwork and re-engaging with the city, questioning ideas of being ‘inside and outside', with films projected in an abandoned cinema, a carpet outside a nightclub, or bikers riding flags across the city. Mint Works held events withtheir cultural partners Le 18 and Awiiily about ‘collective curating.’
