2013/2014

Riad Biba, Marrakech

Co-curated with Jean Feline and Hermione Skye, Mint Collective hosted five art residencies with over 40 artists at Riad Biba, in the souther quarter of Marrakech, the Kasbah. The riad acted as a studio and home for artists to experiment and develop works, with a focus on collaboration with fellow residents and local artists and artisans. Each residency focused on different formal and conceptual material. Mint Collective exhibited a number of the residencies outcomes at the art space Le 18, as well as partnered with many other local cultural actors and institutions to put on exhibitions, events and programmes.

Residency 1 - 'Here and Now'

Residency 4 - 'Lush Bush'

Residency 5 - 'Howl' happening' hosted at Le 18 with performances and installation by Hermione Skye. Contributing artists: Edouard Burgeat, Egle Jancems, Rowan Markson, Sophia Satchell-Baeza, Hugo Schmitt, Necole Schmitz.
